For over two decades, Manny has built one of Indian dance music's most enduring careers, a rare case of a DJ from Chennai breaking out to become a genuinely national name, driven throughout by a commitment to championing new sounds over the familiar

A certified sound engineer from SAE, Manny began as a founding member of Sound Faction (2003 to 2006), one of India's earliest electronic music collectives. In 2007, he co-founded Cyfer, India's first dance music podcast, introducing Indian audiences to exclusive mixes from international artists including Eelke Kleijn, Jody Wisternoff, Jaytech and Aldrin, years before that level of access became commonplace.

From 2003 to 2013, his residency at The Leather Bar at The Park Hotel helped reshape Chennai's nightlife and influenced a generation of DJs who came up watching him play. Widely regarded as one of the city's defining electronic music residencies, it established Manny as one of Chennai's most respected DJs.​Over the years, his sound has moved fluidly across Progressive House, Tech House, House, Techno and Deep House. He's shared stages with artists including Sasha, Above & Beyond, Tiësto, BT, Carl Craig, Sander Kleinenberg, Marc Romboy, &ME, Purple Disco Machine, Yotto, Davi, Coyu and Eli & Fur, performing everywhere from Anjunadeep showcases to multiple editions of Awakenings India.

In 2010, Manny joined Submerge, India's pioneering dance music collective, beginning a decade long partnership. As one half of the live act BLaNK, he won the country's most prestigious DJ competition, organised by the British Council and judged by Above & Beyond, earning a slot representing India at Bestival UK alongside Skrillex, Pendulum and Jazzy Jeff. BLaNK went on to tour extensively, secure an endorsement from Native Instruments, and perform on the main stages of NH7 Weekender, VH1 Supersonic, Sunburn, EVC and Awakenings India.

His focus later shifted toward original work. In 2019, Manny and Ajmal released 11:11, the inaugural release on Submerge Music and the first entry in the label's catalogue. The project culminated in 11:11 LIVE, India's first classical electronic showcase, reimagining the record alongside the Madras Chamber Orchestra in a landmark performance that brought orchestral musicians and electronic artists onto the same stage.

During the pandemic, Manny co-founded 044 Collective, one of India's longest running Twitch livestream communities, bringing together artists from across the country at a time when dance floors had fallen silent and online spaces became a vital way for musicians and audiences to stay connected.

Alongside his work as a DJ, Manny is co-founder of Circle of Love, an independent record label and platform dedicated to discovering, supporting and creating opportunities for emerging artists across genres. Since launch, it has grown into Chennai's largest independent music community and one of South India's most recognised music platforms. Over the past five years, Circle of Love has brought more than 300 artists to Chennai, many making their debut in the city through the platform. It has since expanded into a editorial platform, community radio, artist development initiatives and listening experiences, continuing to champion independent music through club nights, festivals and cultural programming that have helped redefine the city's music landscape.

Twenty five years into his career, Manny continues to divide his time between performing, producing, curating and building platforms for the next generation of artists, driven by the same curiosity and belief in music discovery that shaped his journey from the start.
